INFORMATION ABOUT MEMBERSHIP

Why Join our friendly society - our activities include:

  • a chance to connect with people who share similar interests
  • lively lectures given by accredited experts in their field
  • full days of special interest twice a year
  • engage with Young Arts volunteering working on local projects
  • opportunities to join day trips or longer tours to a place of cultural or historical interest
  • automatically become a member of not only of our Basingstoke Society but also of 'The Arts Society' who have over 360 local societies in the UK and abroad with over 64,000 members who share a love of the arts
  • receive the Arts Society magazine featuring major interviews and 'What's On' listings and much more, will be delivered free to your home three times a year

THE MEMBERSHIP PERIOD IS FROM SEPTEMBER - JULY OF EACH YEAR

Each member will shortly received a personal email from our Treasurer, John Britton inviting you to renew your membership. If you have not received your email by mid August please contact us via info@theartssocietybasingstoke.org.uk.

Membership of The Arts Society Basingstoke costs £50 (single) or £95 (Joint) per year. Renewals are collected from July onwards and can be made online or if needed by paper forms. If you are already a member, John Britton our treasurer will have emailed you a link.

PAYMENT

Payments should be made before 31 August 2025, Cheques are accepted, but the preferred method of payment is by bank transfer or direct debit as this reduces the administration and processing time for both the Treasurer and the Membership Secretary.

The fee for annual membership remains unchanged for 2026 -2027
